VML Health commissioned Ismani Sun for an assignment with RxUCKUS, an organization focused on health equity. Ismani’s illustrations were part of a women’s health initiative focusing on black maternal health. Her illustrations pair with a poem titled In A World of Scrutiny about Black OB/GYN residents within the larger world of medicine: how they’re seen and how they choose to represent themselves and the culture. The art was animated to create an ethereal interactive infographic on their website.
