Our Story
Morgan Gaynin is a boutique, United States-based illustration agency with a focus on storytelling. Each of our illustrators has a unique style, many of them leveraging fine art backgrounds combined with the use of digital mediums. Our artists collaborate on children’s books, book covers, editorial assignments, and key visuals for packaging and advertising among other things.
A small sample of our many clients includes Harper Collins, Disney, Penguin Random House, Scholastic, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Boston Globe, Target, and the MTA Arts Program.

Kelly Pelsue

As Morgan Gaynin’s primary agent, Kelly is eager to bring together our talented illustrators and clients to make a splash with every assignment that comes our way. She brings a breadth of knowledge and experience to the group from prior roles as an ad agency executive and in-house marketer. Fun Fact: Kelly is a third generation illustration agent.

Elena joins Morgan Gaynin with over four years of experience working closely with illustrators along with a BFA from FIT. Elena knows what looks best in an illustrator’s portfolio and is the resident social media expert. Fun Fact: Elena hand-crafted Christmas goodie ornaments for the agency’s Christmas tree.

Tim comes to the helm at Morgan Gaynin with 30 years of illustration experience managing Mendola Artists and Rapp Art. He brings deep insights into the sales and marketing of illustrators and extensive client relationships. Fun fact: Tim and MG Co-founder, Gail Gaynin, both attended Washington University in St. Louis.

Gail Gaynin and Vicki Morgan
Gail Gaynin and Vicki Morgan joined forces in the mid-90s to create Morgan Gaynin. The duo established a group of illustrators with unique styles that take a narrative approach to illustration. Gail and Vicki are known for giving back to the industry through their mentorship to young artists. Fun fact: For many years, they wrote a column offering career advice to illustrators in 3×3, The Magazine of Contemporary Illustration.
