Dave Calver‘s illustration career has spanned more than 40 years with his work featured on the pages of Esquire, GQ, and the New York Times magazine. Most recently, Dave’s “Redheads” series was shown at Brassworks Gallery in Portland, OR this August.
The series surreal quality and quirky characters are emblematic of his work. Dave describes the first piece in the series, “I built a sort of cocktail party around her and have the odd creature in center “morphing” and the scene morphing and moving as well.”
