In 1998, Matthew Shepard, a gay 21-year-old student, was brutally attacked, tied to a fence, and left to die. Commemorating the 25th anniversary of his murder, Always Matt recounts his life and is a reflection on all the work for LGBTQ+ rights done in his memory.
