Evgenia Penman is a London-based illustrator with a lighthearted, cheerful style and a special love for storytelling through pictures. She made the leap into children’s book illustration after a career in advertising, bringing with her a strong sense of visual communication and playful design.

In 2024, Evgenia took part in a five-day summer school in Cambridge focused on children’s book illustration—an experience that sparked a deeper passion and led her to pursue a full-time MA in the subject, beginning in September 2025.

She has illustrated several picture books for independent authors and collaborated with an animation studio, always infusing her work with warmth, humor, and a sense of wonder.
